DUCKSTROMA is a free platformer adventure game where you play as a duck that needs to travel through castles and dungeons in order to collect and deliver eight disks. In this arcade game by AB-UltraNarwhal, you also need to avoid obstacles and dangerous enemies along the way.

DUCKSTROMA is similar to games like Super Mario and Mega Man Evolution, which utilize a 2D pixel art style. You will also be able to find powerups to help you along your way. Aura, the main duck character, even has the ability to lay eggs that help boost her up.

Basic UI with stunning visuals

While the interface of DUCKSTROMA seems quite simple, all the necessary information is readily laid out right in front of you for easy viewing, making it very convenient especially for new players. You can easily see your health bar and how many lives you have left as well. The controls are also very simple, so it’s much easier to navigate and control Aura as you wish. 

The game features an impressive variety of sceneries and locations that you have to go through. These are presented in a pixel art form, which adds to its retro feel. Some areas will also require you to use objects like keys in order to get past them, so make sure to keep an eye out for special items and explore as many places as you can.

It’s important to keep in mind, however, that the game is only available in TAP, TZX, ROM, NES, and ADF formats. The installation process can be quite tedious so it’s best to make use of an emulator in order to properly run the game. Running it through an emulator will avoid issues such as a frozen loading screen when starting the game.
